The new ucweb 7.3 will be released soon

This post is not only related to Nokia 3110c, but all the Ucweb user.
The latest released official versions of ucweb is ucweb 7.2 in English.

But ucweb 7.3 is released in Chinese language with many new innovative features. This is a clear clue to that its english version will be released very soon.

Nokia 3110c Camera

Its a very late post. I must have discussed about the camera specialties of Nokia 3110c. It has such a wonderful camera.
The Nokia 3110c is equipped with a 1.3 megapixel camera.
But the clarity i am getting from this 1.3 mp is much greater than that of other companies(Except sony ericcson)
Its successor phones by Nokia, says to provide 2 mp camera but each capturing takes much more time. Here are some photos i took which will clearly explain my points.
NB: 

• Maximum resolution(Image size) is 1280 x 1024 
• Average image file size is 300-400kb

Nokia 3110c to a web camera

It has been a great day for me. I had just used my nokia 3110c as web camera and it was a thrilling experience.

Thanks to mobiola for providing me this opportunity.

NOTE : You  must have bluetooth stack.

Here are the steps :

• First download mobiola web cam lite here.
• Then install mobiola for mobile from here.
• start the application in computer and mobile.
• Turn on bluetooth on computer
• While running the app on the mobile they will ask you allow search.
• Allow them and your web cam is ready.

Make sure to turn "discovery on" on your bluetooth settings on the computer.

Disadvantages

• Trial version last only for 7 days
• Its just like taking snap shots and sending(Not continuous)
• Camera sounds can't be turned off

But you will surely like this against these cons

Folder Hiding In Nokia 3110c

It is however not possible to completely encrypt any data on your nokia 3110c(or any other s40 series of nokia).

However you can possibly remove a folders visibility by changing the extension.

Here are the steps :
1)Get into gallery
2)Change the 'type of view' from options to grid.
3)Create a folder name starting with 'Z' so that the folder will appearing last among the folder grids.
4)Now go to rename and change the extension to filename.ota
5)Get out and see that your folder is not visible but can be accessed via navigation keys(The folder will be present at the last)


Some tips while hiding your confidential data
1)Try to create the hidden folder as interior as possible to prevent its detection.
2)Try to create a continuous visible folder list as possible.

like :
newfolder/newfolder/newfolder/newfolder/newfolder/newfolder/newfolder/newfolder/
When any one try to open the folder he will think that the set got stuck and stop pressing the open key

In any of the inner folder (not the last one) create the hidden folder...
It will be more safe...

Note:Any of this technique will help you in hiding while browsing through computer. Your file system will be completely exposed as normal......

Remove Password From microSD card for nokia 3110c OR s40 Phones

If you forgot your password and you are using Nokia 3110c phone ,you are an unlucky person. It is possible to use the memory card with the phone in which password was entered.
But we cannot use that memory card with any other phones.

We can see in net saying that "finding mmcstore file and editing", which is impossible to our phone(s40) b'cause we cannot find any explorer rightly to access our system files.

So the possible ways are
# Get to Nokia care, or any good mobile shop where they can flash your memory card.
But all your data will lost.
#Another method(untried by me)
Get any friend's Nokia s60v5 phone like Nokia 5800
Put ur memory card and donot open it.
The only thing you have to do is to activate Remote locking feature by going to Tools | Settings | Security | Phone and SIM | Allow remote lock menu. .(This allows you to lock your phone by sending lock code as sms to your s60v5 phone)(you might require code 12345(or phone code; given is default) while doing this)
Now send a message with lock code to that phone and phone will be locked.
Now password of your mmc will be changed (Take mmc without unlocking the phone and you mmc password will be lock code )
                                   Check whether it works and inform me plz

unlock phone with mmc in it and try ur luck.......
